A bit about me

Creativity and a joy of making things have followed me since I grew up in Indre Troms, surrounded by forests and mountains in a large family of craftspeople. Curiosity led me further — to bachelor's and master's studies in Australia, where I got a rather nice hat and gown and was absolutely thrilled. I also started my own business and got my first taste of freelance life.

Since then I've worked both in-house and as a consultant, with titles like graphic designer, interaction designer and UX designer. A genuine interest in understanding people and making complex things a little easier to navigate has gradually become a natural part of how I approach design — not just in work projects, but also in the garden and in developing new knitting patterns, two of my biggest hobbies.

I now live in Randaberg and thrive best with a varied everyday life that combines creativity, nature and problem-solving. I'm happy to jump into the unknown — whether that means a new design process or a new route up a mountain!
